Well, Christmas has come and gone and so has Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day as well...I know, I'm a little late. Better late than never right?
We had a wonderful Christmas and holiday break. We spent Christmas this year at my Mom and Mike's. With this being Owen's second Christmas, he was a little more interested in it than he was last year at just 10 days old. He enjoyed opening the gifts and couldn't believe they were all for him. The best gift, from Grandma, ended up being a box full of empty water bottles. He just loved them and played with them forever. Some other favorites included a musical car, puzzles, books and clothes.
Here are some of our favorite pictures from the holiday.

After a wonderful Christmas with my family, we headed to FL to depart on cruise with Andrew's family to celebrate Patti's 60th birthday. We sure are lucky to get to have such wonderful travels.
We departed from Ft. Lauderdale for a 4 day, 5 night cruise to Key West and Cozumel. It was AWESOME! We were a little nervous about traveling with Owen on a cruise to other countries, but after getting his passport we were ready to go.
We had a joining room with Patti and Dan and that was great! Whenever we put Owen down for a nap or bed, someone could hang out in their room, rather than being stuck in the dark while he slept. Several nights, Dan offered to stay back after dinner so Andrew and I could go out and enjoy the evening.
Unfortunately, Patti, Chris (Andrew's Aunt) and Lindsay got sick so they all missed a day and evening or two. Andrew also had an allergic reaction, we think to shell fish-can you believe it?!?! Owen, though, did great! He slept well, took long naps, and ate like a KING! He definitely took advantage of the all-you-can-eat cruise mentality. He had just started eating all adult food, no purees, and he loved it all-chicken, pasta, potatoes, eggs, sausage, pancakes, everything. He also loved all of the attention. Everyone we came across just couldn't get over how cute he was. He also befriended one of the buffet managers who found us a high chair for all of our buffet meals.
It was so much fun to celebrate Patti's 60th with such wonderful family. We really had a great time! Here are some pictures from the cruise.
