Midnight

Wow, it's been a long time!  It's been super busy over here!  Since March, a lot has gone on, but more on that in the next post or two!

This post is dedicated to our beloved Midnight.  She left us at the end of March.  It was her time and she has been dearly missed.  She was 20 years old and I had her since I was 8 years old.  We got her from the Humane Society, and she was a runt at just a couple of pounds.  Since then she has lived in 3 states, moved 5 times and lived quite the life.  About 5 years ago, she started having kidney issues and went on medication to help them.  Then we added some medication for arthritis and she has been relatively healthy since.  In January of this year, her health just started disintegrating and after a life assessment at the end of March we decided it was her time.    

Losing a pet is just awful if you've never experienced it.  Especially one that you have had for 2/3 of your life.  We'll probably get another cat or possibly a dog in the future, but for now we'll just remember our sweet Minnie Midnight.
