The story of our move.....

So, it was only in April when we were still questioning whether we would be moving. Two months later we both have jobs and a house, wow, things have gone fast. It was November/December 2008 when we made the decision to go full speed ahead and do everything we could to get jobs and start a life in Madison. In January, I got my Wisconsin teaching license and Andrew got his once he finished his masters in March. We wanted to make sure that nothing held us back if we were to get interviews. April came around and we had both completed the WI online teaching application and had applied to a couple of jobs. In May I got calls for two interviews. I got the one I really wanted in the Middleton School District. I will be a cross-categorical special education teacher for second, third and fourth grades. A couple of weeks later, Andrew got a call for a couple of interviews and he got one in Sun Prairie. He will also be a cross-categorical special education teacher for mostly fifth graders. After we knew he had a job, we went house hunting and found the perfect house in Madison. We put an offer in and it was accepted, without a counter offer. We couldn't be happier. This whole process has been so easy and fast for us. We are so grateful for the opportunities we have been given and are excited to start this new chapter. We have the inspection on our house tomorrow, so once that is completed and it goes without a hitch, we'll post some pictures. Thanks to everyone for all of your support through this process. We love you all. xoxo
